Surplus & Material Services provides moving services for faculty and staff moving their offices from one Rutgers location to another or for an internal move. We do not provide services for personal or household moves.
All moves require a site visit so that we may provide you with an accurate quote.

Surplus & Material Services will contact you within 48 hours of receipt of your request for a quote.
Moving boxes are available for purchase from Surplus & Material Services. They are $1.90 each and the size is 12x12x24.
To order boxes:
- Complete an Internal Purchase Order (IPO) through RIAS
- On RIAS, under "Internal Supplier," select RIAS code (646)
